Here’s our first fitness video testimonial from David Kotkin (and daughter Rachel). Notice how David cleverly slows his jump rope segment to mimic his heartbeat. Really cool stuff. Thank you David.

Personally I think David’s Fitness in Action motivation for staying healthy carries more weight than just about anything else I can imagine. Most of us have children and grand children that we feel the same way as David does, and it is up to us to remain active, fit and smart for them as long as we can.

In his note to me David says, “I did a 50 sec clip about my fitness story. Food I am still working on but the main thing is I found that is kind of a hack for me is being slightly hungry at 8 pm. I love hearing my stomach growling for food at 11pm. The reason is I am sleepy and I can escape the pain of feeling deprived and the next day I will most likely be a pound or two lighter. It is the chronic feeling of hungry with no end in sight that always breaks me. This way I eat what I want and around 3 pm I start cutting back and try to reach the 8 pm slightly hungry feeling. I have tried everything else and nothing has really worked but this. It works for me because I am sleeping through the hunger part and I can handle being hungry for 3 hours instead 13. It’s a much better deal in my opinion.” Interesting fasting approach.

Feedback from readers like David have inspired us readjust our thinking regarding who can benefit from this book. We began writing Senior Fitness 4 Life with the over 65+ crowd in mind. Now we are in the process of a major rewrite so that when the final version of book one is launched it will take in seniors from 50 and above, spanning the Third Age folks as well..

Every day in the US alone there are 10,000 Baby Boomers turning 50 as well as another 10,000 turning 65. Our goal, along with friends and fans such as David, is to add years of healthy, disease-free life to their healthspan. Working together we can all benefit from all the new scientific discoveries happening almost daily.
